Linda
Ward and Joan Hobbs Looking forward to seeing you all soon! |
We are making quilts for the homeless again this summer. The quilts will be given to Connections in Wilmington. They will then give them to people in need. We have worked with Connections in the past and they are a wonderful organization. Many of you have said you can’t come in to sew but want to help. You can take your stash and do some stash busting. We will be using 8 1/2”squares OR 10 1/2’’ squares. So if you would like to help and don’t have time to come in and sew here is a way to help. If you are coming in to sew we need to know how many to expect so please call to sign up. You need to bring your machine, thread, and basic sewing supplies. As we go along you will need to bring your walking foot to do some basic quilting. Dates & Times are: June 21, July 6, July 15, July 30, Aug. 3, Aug. 9, Aug. 24, Sept. 7, The time for all the dates will be 10 am – 2 pm. We will add more dates in the next newsletter. |
The 30’s club is still growing! You can join at any time. We have a different project each month. Stop by and see the new projects. Dates and times of the meetings are listed in the newsletter. |
